The main goal of Morse Analytics is to help people understand data, using both an advisory and technical approach. I gain insight from complex data sets to support better decision-making, develop effective ways to communicate information, and set up systems for collecting and managing data. Some of the things I can do include analysing data, designing data structures, setting up databases, creating spreadsheets, and developing bespoke apps.
Gaining insight
Simply having access to a comprehensive data set is not enough to help your organisation in its decisions. You need to understand what it is telling you, and how it can be beneficial. I have extensive experience in helping organisations approach and understand their data and I offer guidance on how they can apply it to support decision-making.
Effective communication
Tables, charts and dashboards of your data are not always sufficient to articulate what you really need to say. I can help to build models using your data to simulate an environment, and ensure that these models can be effectively communicated and utilized through a range of media, including Excel and web-based applications.
Developing systems
You may want to collect essential data to support your organisation, but don’t have the tools to do so. I have plenty of experience in designing and building bespoke tools that help organisations to collect and manage crucial data effectively.
Whilst much of my experience has been gained with healthcare-related organisations, I have also worked with the sport and fitness, meeting management, training and careers industries. For examples of my previous work, a number of real-life case studies can be found here.

I have consulted with most of the major pharmaceutical companies and the National Health Service, set up analytical services departments, provided training and mentoring to individuals, partnered with other freelancers, and subcontracted for corporations.
